Today, the day of Diwali is celebrated with sweets and firecrackers at home. The bursting of crackers, drums and dancing is not only restricted to homes but also at cinema theatres in Thiruvananthapuram with the release of the much awaited Vijay’s latest film ‘Mersal’.
Directed by Atlee, ‘Mersal’ features Vijay in triple roles paired with Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nithya Menen. Although faced with opposition in Kerala from Film Distribution Association (FDA) earlier, now with advanced booking, ‘Mersal’ is to be a blockbuster.
It was successful among fans who commented positively on it on various social platforms and news channels.
