Killed Muslim man accused cow smuggling: Two cow vigilantes arrested

Police arrested two cow vigilantes in connection with the murder of a Muslim man in Rajasthan’s Alwar district. The accused are sent to three-day police custody.
 
The two arrested were Bhagwan Singh and Ramveer Gurjar. Both the accused are presented before Magistrate Court and has been sent to police custody for three days.
 
As per the reports, Police is now searching for at least four others involved in the crime, adding that special teams have been formed to trace them. Cow vigilantes had allegedly thrashed and then shot dead Umar Khan and injured another person in Govindgarh on suspicion of cow smuggling.
 
Umar Khan’s mutilated body was found on the railway tracks near Govindgarh. The incident took place on Friday morning when three persons were transporting some cows to a village in Bharatpur region.
