It was a highly successful day for the Indian army on Saturday. The Indian Army gunned down six terrorists who infiltrated from Pakistan into our territory. But we have to pay for this success, A soldier from the Indian soldier guard commando attained martyrdom. It was held in Bandipora district of north Kashmir. In which the nephew of the Mumbai terror attack plotter Zaki-ur Rehman Lakhvi was also killed. Thirty-one-year-old Corporal JP Nirala, who had sustained bullet injuries, died in hospital.
“Corporal Nirala, who was holding a Light Machine Gun, immediately fired back at the terrorists. With accurate and heavy fire, he killed two to three terrorists and stopped the movement of others,” said the official. “But while doing so, he changed his position without caring for his own safety and was hit by a bullet,” he added.
The 31 years old soldier sustained bullet injuries during the encounter and died in the hospital. But before his death, he gave a marvelous display of bravery and dedication towards the Indian Airforce. The six terrorists were immediately killed in the encounter.
Corporal Nirala had joined the Indian Airforce in 2005. The guard unit which he belongs to, raised with a specific motive of carrying the counter-terror operations. The army paid floral tribute to the soldier yesterday. But the thing is that the dedication and sacrifices of these people are not even noticed because the media is least interested to show that news.
This is what meant to patriotism, we must stand with our soldiers who gave their lives to save our country and its well being. We should respect the effort they take. Their family members are to be protected at any cost. Because of them, we are safe at home.
