Max Healthcare does not provide maximum healthcare

Doctors are seen as God and nurses as angles. But that is not the case for this newborn and parents. Here is the shocking incident of Max Healthcare.

In a shocking case of negligence, a private hospital declared one of the twin babies dead on November 30 morning, but the family noticed the baby had signs of life just before cremation.

The shocking blunder was committed by Max Hospital, Shalimar Bagh.

The baby was handed over to the family in a plastic bag. When the family was taking it for cremation, the baby showed signs of life. The family then took him to a nearby hospital where his condition is said to be stable.

The hospital has sent the doctor handling the case on forced leave.

Here is the full statement by Max Healthcare authorities:

“It has been brought to our attention that a pre-mature (22 weeks), newborn baby, who is reported to be on life support at a nursing home, was unfortunately handed over without any sign of life by Max Hospital, Shalimar Bagh. This baby was one of the twins delivered on November 30th morning. The other baby was still-born. We are shaken and concerned at this rare incident. We have initiated a detailed inquiry, pending which, the concerned doctor has been asked to proceed on leave immediately. We are in constant touch with the parents and are providing all the needed support.”

The family has lodged a complaint with the police.
