“Congress will focus on a New vision for India”: Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi who is on Bahrain visit admitted to the NRI’s that he had made mistakes and now he is going to rectify those and will present a new Congress with a ‘new Vision’ for India.

“You said Congress party accepted its mistake. I am admitting that I also made mistakes. I am a human being. We all make mistakes,” said Gandhi while interacting with NRIs.

He also claimed that the media is in India is becoming one-sided but in spite of these grave difficulties, he along with Congress is trying to create a new Vision for India. He also said that Congress was able to scare BJP in their own Bastion.

He further said, “Congress party has questioned them (the BJP) in the state. So, we are fighting them on the ground. Our focus is to give India a new vision, a new Congress party to the people.

“If you give a new Congress party to you, it is not a big thing to defeat the BJP. We have made mistakes. But we too have our strengths in the party. Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had predicted a 2 percent fall in GDP when demonetisation was announced,” he noted.

He also said that Reforming education, Job creation, and a global health care system will be the focus of Congress if they come to power.

He also said that Congress will pressurise the central government to pass women’s reservation bill.
