Actor Tovino Thomas has now visited Sreejith promising backing towards his nervousness seeking a CBI investigation on his brother Sreejeev’s custodial death. He spent nearly 15 minutes with Sreejith. Tovino listened to his pleas, hearing his woes.The actor proclaimed completely his support.
The CBI had informed the state government as they cannot take over the case as per it is not of infrequent and extraordinary nature. The administration will send a letter to the union personal ministry seeking a rethink on their stand. Sreejith has also said that he would continue with his hunger strike until the CBI agrees to take up the case.
Meanwhile, political leaders have started visiting Sreejith as his protest started gaining attention in social media. Earlier the day, opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala visited Sreejith and offered him all legal help and was followed by Yuva Morcha state president Prakash Babu who has started a hunger strike with Sreejith. Also, DYFI leaders A A Rahim and I Saju, and I P Binu also visited him and offered to help him with all legal aide.
Various social media platforms took up Sreejith’s case about two days before.The hashtag ‘justice delayed is justice denied’ is popularizing in the social media. Members of various facebook communities are trying their best to bring more people to join the cause of Sreejith.
