On Thursday Supreme Court of will likely resume hearing on a batch of cross-petitions regarding the sensitive Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri Masjid. Chief Justice Deepak Mishra, other judges – Justice Ashok Bhushan and Justice S Abdul Nazeer will hear a total of 13 petitions over the disputed site in Ayodhya.
The petitions have challenged Allahabad high court verdict that has divided the disputed Ayodhya land between the Nirmohi Akhara, Lord Ram deity and the Sunni Waqf Board.The hearing is scheduled o take place on 2 PM.
The last hearing on the case took place on December 5, 2017. Then Kapil Sibal who appeared for the Sunni Waqf board demanded the case be postponed to July 2019 after the Lok Sabha elections are held.

But then the Supreme court rejected it scheduled the hearing for February 8.
The Allahabad high court had asked that one-third of the land was to be given to Ram Lalla – infant Lord Ram represented by Hindu Maha Sabha, one-third of the land was entrusted to Nirmohi Akhada, one third was to be given to Islamic Sunni Waqf Board.
