As rumors regarding Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s health was gaining momentum, Mumbai’s famous Lilavathi Hospital on Sunday denied all such suspicion and said that he was responding well to the treatment. They also rejected the rumors as ‘malicious and misleading.

They released a statement clearing the doubts of the well-wishers.

The statement was signed by Ajay Kumar Pande, Vice President, Lilavati Hospital, And Research Centre.
Parrikar was visited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi who was in Mumbai to inaugurate ‘Magnetic Maharashtra’ Global Investors Summit in suburban Bandra.

Parrikar was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on February 15 reportedly after his health deteriorated. There were rumor’s on social media that he is suffering from Pancreatic cancer.
