Producer Shankar filed a complaint against Vadivelu after the comedy actor failed to turn up for the shooting of the new film ‘Imsai Arasan 2’. This lead to a complaint being filed at the Tamil Nadu Film Producers’ Council.
As per recent reports, two more producers have registered complaints against Vaigai Puyal. Actor-producer RK had roped in the actor to star in the horror-comedy ‘Neeyum Naanum Naduvula Peyum’. However, according to RK, he did not turn up for the shoot despite receiving a huge sum for the film. RK has now filed a complaint against the actor for non-compliance.

On the other hand, Vadivelu was supposed to act in GV Prakash Kumar’s film with director Ram Bala of ‘Dhilluku Dhuddu’ fame. The film to be produced by Stephen was put on hold after the actor had creative differences with the director.
If reports are to be believed, both Nadigar Sangam and the Producers’ Council have issued notices to Vadivelu asking for an explanation.
