Traffic
Late Rajesh Pillai’s best work, Traffic was about an adventurous journey that a police man took to transport a ‘heart’ to make a heart surgery possible. Aided by traffic support mechanisms,Sudevan(Sreenivasan) travels 150 kilometres in 2 hours to get the heart at the right place at the right time. The heart was available in the first place, as Rihan(Vineeth Sreenivasan) falls victim to someone’s careless traffic manners . The film makes you think twice before pulling off such acts in a signal
Bangalore Days
Primarily a feel good movie about the friendship among three cousins, Bangalore Days reveals a plot that includes an accident in its second half. Nithya menon’s character encourages Fahad’s character to jump the signal while being on a bike with him and runs in to an accident. Like Traffic, the person with the helmet saves himself from death.
Mumbai Police
This movie begins with an accident. A police officer solves a crime, but before he could communicate the detail with his superior, his SUV meets with an accident. The vehicle goes for a toss and the hero wakes up with complete amnesia. The accident was caused by the carelesness of a truck coupled with the fact that the hero was on a call while driving, which probably reduced his reaction time.
The Vow
A Hollywood romantic film, this movie had an accident as its central theme. The hero and the heroine unbuckles the seat belt and leans over to to kiss and on the exact moment is rammed by a truck. The film later dives in to their past, but importantly, even if you have airbags to protect your face, it will not work unless you are buckled up.
Solo
Solo was an anthology of films and in one among the four films- World of Trilok,the plot is about a girl on a cycle getting hit by a car. The man who was driving the car refuses to take her to the hospital as he knew that he could be arrested for driving when he was drunk. Drinking and driving certainly makes your judgement less sharp, reduce your response time and you will end up being only shadow of the driver you would otherwise be.
