Sonam Kapoor’s wedding is all over social media. From the bigwig Bollywood celebs in attendance to the exquisite bridal outfits, it’s the biggest Bollywood wedding of the year!
And while all of us expected Sonam to go big and elaborate with her wedding outfits and beauty looks, she surprised us with her whole new take on minimalism. Her outfits are anything but relatable and something any bride would love to flaunt with ease and comfort!

Sonam’s mehendi bash
For this occasion, Sonam wore a beautiful ivory coloured chikankari lehenga designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. She sported a very traditional beauty look with her hair tied into a long braid and gajra flowers (a string of jasmine) crisscrossed over it. Her makeup look was all about well-defined eyes with nude lips.

Sonam’s traditional wedding
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja got married in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony. For the occasion, Sonam wore a classic red lehenga. She sported a simple hair bun with flowers at the back. Her make-up artist, Namrata Soni didn’t let her make-up overshadow her look and kept it simple with a black liner, soft cheeks and a light pink lip gloss.

Sonam’s grand reception
Just when we expected Sonam to go big with her wedding reception outfit, she surprised us again! She went for a graphic Anamika Khanna ensemble and a simple take on her makeup. Her hair looked super sleek with the centre-parting and it seemed like she was also wearing hair extensions. Her make-up’s centre of attraction was her bold red lips!
