Visits to government office can be an unpleasant experience, more so if you are not getting what you want. When common man falls at the receiving end of such attitude, all they can do is to bite the anger off. But A 70-year-old man Ravi Chakkalaparambil from Amballoor in Ernakulam district of Kerala couldn’t leave it at that as he set the files on village office on fire in protest ! The man later soon the scene and was later captured by the locals and handed over to the police.

The reason behind Ravi’s strange tactics was a dispute over a property. Apparently the village officers had found that that a portion of Ravi’s property was a paddy field and Ravi was upset over this. Today morning, he came to the office and made his demand, which was denied. He soon restored to his inventive protest, pouring petrol over the files and setting them on fire. The officials soon joined to put out the fire. A few of the important files turned itself to ashes but nobody was injured.
