Ingredients
- 4 raw bananas
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Coconut oil
- Salt
- Water
Preparation
- Peel and wash the bananas
- In a bowl, mix water, salt and turmeric powder
- Thinly slice the bananas into the water
- Let it sit for 5 minutes
- Heat oil in a kadai/Uruli/deep bottomed pan
- Drain the slices and add them to the hot oil
- Fry till they turn bright yellow
- Remove them from the pan and drain excess oil
- Store the chips in an airtight jar
