Avoid these unhealthy breakfasts to reduce your belly fat

The science behind reducing belly fat is almost same as reducing fat from any other area or all over the body. You need to follow calorie deficit diet which means taking low-calorie nutritious food, so your body compensates those calories from burning stored fat. And since low-calorie diet means healthy and nutritious diet, so your body still gets all nutrients to stay active.

But here is a catch, there are foods which help a bit more to burn mainly visceral fat in belly areas like low-fat yogurt, lemon juice, almonds, legumes, coconut oil and many more.

A healthy breakfast actually boosts metabolism and helps burn more calories and lose weight. But some so labelled ‘healthy’ breakfast foods and recipes are full of fat and calories that increase your risk for obesity and other chronic conditions. So, it’s incredibly imperative to carefully choose the food you consume in the morning largely because your breakfast is considered as the most important meal of the day. Here are five of the worst Indian food choices you may want to eliminate from your breakfast if you want to avoid gaining weight and get rid of stubborn belly fat:

Oily Pooris or Chole Bhature

There is no denying the fact that chole bhature is an all-time favourite for many of us. Usually served within Indian breakfast menus, this extremely delicious snack is packed with calories and saturated fats. These bhatures, apart from making you fat, could contribute to diabetes, blood pressure, bloating, acidity, and heartburn. Pakoras, Samosas or Kachoris

These oily fries are common items which are included in many breakfasts and snack menus. Like bhatures, they increase bad cholesterol, reduce good cholesterol, and are major contributors to obesity.
Medu Vada

One of the most famous South Indian breakfast delicacies, this crispy palatability is made with spiced urad dal batter and fried in doughnut shape dumplings. Occasionally indulging may not hinder your weight loss goals, but having a medu vada daily as a breakfast food is unhealthy as it will add a lot of oil to your diet and so, should be avoided.

Vada Pav

A vegetarian fast food dish and most loved breakfast or snack of Mumbaikers, there is nothing more unhealthy than stuffing yourself with bread and deep fried potato vada that is packed with calories. It is said that a single vada can have as many as 286 calories.

Jalebi Fafda

A Gujarati staple, Jalebi fafda is particularly unhealthy because it is very high in both fats and sugars – a deadly food combination that contributes to obesity. Even research has shown that a combination of high-fat and high-sugar food drastically increases the risk of obesity and metabolic syndrome. Basically, fafdas are a type of deeply fried papad, while jalebis are made by deep-frying maida flour batter in circular shapes, and then dipped in sugar syrup. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that this combo can pack whopping calories, making you gain fat and sick as well.
