Before the upcoming Loksabha Elections in 2019, Kejriwal declared that he would support BJP if they grant his wish. His wish is that BJP should grant Delhi full statehood after their victory.
Addressing a special session of the Delhi Assembly on Monday, June 11, Arvind Kejriwal claimed that if Narendra Modi government fulfilled this wish then each and every vote in Delhi would be gone in his favour.

Speaking to ANI Arvind Kejriwal said, “I want to tell BJP that if before 2019 elections, Delhi is granted full statehood. We’ll make sure that each and every vote from Delhi goes in your favour, we’ll campaign for you. If you don’t do so Delhi residents will put up boards saying ‘BJP leave Delhi”.
