SHOCKING!!! Over drugs and alcohol minor raped by village boys

Was the intent of the death penalty for rapists a method to induce fear into the, apart from as a form of punishment? Well, it might not be working.

In a shocking incident reported, a minor girl has been raped after she was given drugs and alcohol.

The 15-year-old had drug addiction forced upon her before she was raped repeatedly by a group of youngsters in Tiruvallur. The Class 10 student was home for summer vacation when the incident occurred.

Youngsters in the neighbourhood befriended her and allegedly introduced her to liquor and drugs. They were said to have taken her to the outskirts of the town without the knowledge of her parents and repeatedly raped.

The parents took the victim to the hospital when she fell ill recently, where the girl confessed to having consumed liquor and ganja. Shocked parents inquired further and came to know also about the sexual abuse.

Based on their complaint, Tamil Nadu Tiruvallur town police registered a case and all-women police took over the investigation.

Police sources said that police have picked seven suspects from the same locality for interrogation. They all are said to have just completed 18 years of age and police have launched a hunt for five more persons.

Another story has come up saying that the girl went missing from home and was found by police in Tiruvallur bus stand. “During the quizzing, the girl had reportedly told the police about the abuse, which led to the arrest of seven teenage boys,” sources told. Further investigation is on.
