Malayali jewellery owner was arrested in Riyadh for allegedly providing assistance to terrorists by giving them Sim cards and money. Three Malayalis were nabbed at Yemen border by Saudi C.I.D while giving SIM cards unlawfully. Later, a thorough search was conducted in their apartment which led to the arrest of two more, but these were women and attempts to free them are being made claiming that they had no knowledge of the plot.

According to the reports, Saudi has not officially informed Indian Investigative agencies. Famous Jewellery owner In Kannur district of Kerala K V Muhammad, his two brothers and his son-in-law were the ones who got arrested. They have reportedly earned sim card using Iqama(Identity card) in the name of people of other nationality.
It’s hard to imagine that the suspects are innocent as they were arrested for the same charges 6 months before. National Investigative Agencies have got the information that one of them have escaped to India, but hasn’t reached India yet. They all belong to the same family.
