After the shock of Irrfan Khan undergoing treatment for a neuroendocrine tumor, here comes another jolt for all Bollywood fans. Actress Sonali Bendre revealed on social media that she is suffering from high-grade cancer and she is leaving for New York for the treatment.

The actress wrote a lengthy post where she revealed, Sometimes, when you least expect it, life throws you a curveball. I have recently been diagnosed with high-grade cancer that has metastasized, which we frankly did not see coming. A niggling pain led to some tests, which led to this unexpected diagnosis.
My family and close friends have rallied around me, providing the best support system that anyone can ask for. I am very blessed and thankful for each of them.” Sonal Bendre is known for playing the lead roles in movies like Sarfarosh, Hum Saath Saath Hai, Diljale, Duplicate, Shankar Dada MBBS etc.
