How To Make Stick Kulfi: RECIPE

This creamy smooth delicious ice cream can be prepared at home easily. It tastes divine with the flavour of cardamom and vanilla essence.

Ingredients

  • Whole milk – 1 litre
  • Corn flour – 1 tbsp
  • Fresh cream – 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom pwd – a pinch
  • Vanilla essence – 1 tsp

Method

  • Add whole milk to the pan.
  • Heat in low flame with stirring.
  • Let it boil until the milk thickens and reduce to half of its volume.
  • In a small bowl, add 1 tbsp of corn flour and add little water and mix it to thin paste.
  • Add cornflour paste to milk and stir.
  • Add fresh cream, sugar and cardamom powder and stir.
  • Add vanilla essense and stir for 2 more mins.
  • Turn off flame and allow to cool.
  • Pour in ice cream moulds.
  • Freeze overnight in the refrigerator.
  • Next day…show the moulds in running water for a few seconds, to remove the ice cream from the moulds.
  • That’s it…lip smacking creamy delicious homemade paal ice cream is ready!
