Yamaha Motor has launched the Ray ZR Street Rally Edition in India at a price of ? 57,898 (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Ray ZR Street Rally edition is basically a decked up version of the standard Ray ZR, with a sporty demeanour and snazzy graphics. The front headlight apron now gets a ‘wing-style’ fairing which has been inspired from the Yamaha MT-09, giving the scooter a sporty stance.
Also, the company has incorporated new knuckle-guards to protect the hands from wind-blast. Other features include the fully digital instrument console, the ‘rising air’ rear end and the roller rocker arm which reduces the loss of power at low speeds.

The Cygnus Ray ZR Street Rally edition will be available in two colours, which are Rally Red and Racing Blue. Yamaha says that the scooter will hit the dealerships from the last week of July 2018.
The Street Rally edition scooter uses the same 113 cc single-cylinder Blue Core engine that makes around 7.2 bhp and 8.1 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired to a CVT unit. Some of the other features include a 170 mm front disc brake, 21-litre underseat stowage, a front pocket for storing knick knacks, key secure grip and a two-level single seat.
