Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 was launched in India originally in April 2018. While a 6GB RAM variant was announced at launch, it was not available immediately. The Taiwanese phone manufacturer on Friday has now announced that the most premium variant in the lineup, with 6GB of RAM, will go on sale in India starting July 26 exclusively via Flipkart. Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 6GB RAM price in India has been set at Rs. 14,999, which is the same price point that was announced at launch. At the India launch of the ZenFone 5Z earlier this month, the company had said the 6GB RAM variant of the ZenFone Max Pro M1 will go on sale in India this month – it appears to be keeping that promise.

In the camera department, ZenFone Max Pro M1 impresses with a 13MP + 5MP dual-camera setup on the 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants and a 16MP + 5MP setup on the 6GB RAM variant. For selfies, the 3GB and 4GB RAM variants of the smartphone feature an 8MP sensor on the front, while the 6GB RAM variant is equipped with a 16MP unit. The selfie camera supports Face Unlock and comes with Beauty-shot to enhance selfies.
Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, FM radio, and 4G VoLTE. The smartphone also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 5-magnet speaker powered by NXP Smart Amplifier. Keeping the lights on is a massive 5000mAh capacity battery with fast charging support. In terms of software, the smartphone runs on stock Android 8.1Oreo operating system with a guaranteed upgrade to Android P.
