Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on Sunday invited Imran Khan, who is set to become the Prime Minister of Pakistan, to visit Kabul, a spokesperson for Khan said. The cricketer-turned-politician has accepted the invitation.
Ghani congratulated Khan over the victory of his Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) party in the parliamentary elections of July 25, reports Xinhua news agency.

Spokesman Naeem ul Haq told reporters that the PTI leader had agreed to visit Afghanistan after he assumes office.
Haq had earlier said that Khan will take oath as Prime Minister before August 14.
