India scripted a brilliant comeback in the second and third session of the day to make the first day their own. India may have missed the services of another spinner, but Ashwin did well to cover up for it, picking up four wickets.

Since then, England kept losing wickets at regular intervals, falling from 216 for 4 to 285 for 9 in 88 overs. England would really look back at the runout and will ask why they rushed for a run with so much time left in the game.
