Reliance JioPhone 2 went on its first flash sale at 12PM on Jio.com on Thursday. During the first Jio Phone 2 flash sale today, the handset went out of stock soon after it became available. Some users who were able to reach the ‘Add to cart’ stage received the message ‘Page under maintenance’. It was a flash sale and, predictably, lasted only a few minutes.
The handset has a QWERTY keyboard and runs Kai OS like the model released last year. The Jio Phone 2 price in India, however, is twice as much as that of its predecessor. The official website says those who buy the handset in the Jio Phone 2 flash sale should ideally get the device shipped to them within 5-7 business days.

The flash sale of JioPhone 2 is now over. As per the company, the next flash sale will be on August 30 at 12 noon.
The phone has a price tag of Rs 2,999 but Jio is charging Rs 99 for delivery so you have to pay Rs 3,098 in total. The delivery will take place within 5-7 days. You have to activate the SIM from nearest Jio store.
