Bajaj has finally introduced a rear disc brake on the Pulsar NS 160. The new Bajaj Pulsar 160 NS is priced from Rs 82,630, ex-showroom.
The first batch of Pulsar NS 160 rear disc brake as arrived at dealerships. Deliveries are to commence soon. In terms of styling, the Bajaj NS160 continues to ape the NS200 with some changes. It gets similar headlamp design, instrument cluster and a 12 liter fuel tank. It is seen with split seats, clip on handlebars, AHO function. It sits on a steel perimeter frame with box section swingarm.

The new variant is slated to be heavier by around 1-2 kgs as compared to the single disc variant which weighed 142 kgs. The new Pulsar NS160 gets telescopic fork and gas charged monoshock rear supension while it sits on 17” 5 spoke alloy wheels. It also receives 240mm disc brake in the front and new 230 mm rear disc brake at the rear.
Engine specifications on the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 rear disc brake variant stay the same as that seen on its earlier counterpart. This 160.3 cc, 4 valve, air cooled, single cylinder engine comes in with Digital Triple Spark (DTSi) system. It offers 15 bhp peak power at 8,500 rpm and 14.6 Nm torque at 6,500 rpm mated to a 5 speed gearbox.
