Salam’s area was affected by the flood but his house wasn’t submerged. The car was parked in front of his house. He tried to start the car after the water receded but it did not move. He then opened the bonnet to have a closer look and found that Python had made a niche for itself under the hood.

Salam informed others and forest officers soon rushed to the spot and captured the snake. The Python was 10 feet long and weighed 32 kilograms. An official warning has been issued to all victims to be watchful of such issues when they get back into their houses.
