Muslims in Agra have demanded Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed’s extradition to India. They have raised their voice for Saeed to be tried in an Indian prison for the atrocities he has committed.
Following the Friday Namaz in the Sadar Bhatti area of Agra, Muslim social activists, and community leaders gathered and demanded that Hafiz Saeed’s access to his bank accounts be blocked.
They said that by allowing him to access his bank accounts despite being in prison, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has proved that his sympathies are with Saeed, no matter what the world thinks of him.
They said that it is clear that Saeed is being provided with all possible amenities in the Pakistani prison. They demanded that the international community pressurise Pakistan to shift Saeed to a prison out of the country.
Hindustani Biradari secretary Ziauddin said, “If Imran Khan has such sympathy towards Saeed, he should start giving pension to his family from the government exchequer.”
Ziauddin also appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi that he demand’s Saeed’s extradition to India where he can be tried.
The community said that India should submit a written demand to the UN Security Council demanding censure on Pakistan for allowing Saeed access to his bank accounts when he is being tried for terror funding under UNSC resolution no. 1267.
