In the forex market the domestic currency Indian rupee has remained firm against the US dollar and UAE dirham.
In the Interbank foreign exchange, the Indian rupee has opened flat at 75.59. The Indian rupee settled the previous week at 75.58 to the dollar. The Indian rupee is trading at 20.54 against UAE dirham.
The ‘Dollar index’, which measures the US dollar’s strength against a basket of six currencies, fell 0.04% to 96.89.
