Dog buried alive by owners digs self out grave… Know more!!!

A dog who was buried alive by its Russian owners after being tested for a ‘lethal injection’, managed to dig himself out of the grave and walk to a road.

The dog named Kiryusha is a seven-year-old German shepherd, was seen by a 39-year-old motorist, Olga Lystseva while she was out driving in southern Russia. Olga said she noticed the exhausted canine walking slowly in the rain. So, she decided to turn her car around and drive nearly 17 kms to him up from the roadside.

Once she was able to pick up the dog, she settled her on the back seat of the car and offered some food. Olga then drove all the way to the city to hand the dog over to a rescue centre. The shelter put out several photos of the dog and appealed to the public for information.  When the owners of the dog were tracked down, they said they had to ‘put down’ Kiryusha, claiming she was unhealthy.

The couple injected the canine with a lethal drug that was intended to kill him. Then they buried him in a remote spot near the Ukhta-Syktyvkar highway. “Thanks to Olga, Kiryusha has begun a new life. In the shelter, he is very calm. He walks on a leash, does not rush anywhere, rarely conflicts with other dogs, and does not bark. He is good-natured with people,” said a member of the rescue service.
