In women’s hockey, the junior team of India has created history by defeating senior women’s team of Chile. The Indian team defeated Chile by 2-0 e at the Prince of Wales Country Club in Chile. For India Sangita Kumari (48th minute) and Sushma Kumari (56th minute) scored the victory goals.
This was India’s third consecutive victory on the tour. It had defeated the Chile junior side twice earlier this week.
