The Pentagon announced on Thursday that the US State Department has cleared the potential sale of rocket launchers to Bahrain.
The agreement features the M270 Multiple Launch Rocket Systems Upgrade and supporting equipment. The sale will be fixed for an estimated cost of $176 million.
The main contractor will be Lockheed Martin Corp., according to a press release from the Pentagon’s Defense Security Cooperation Agency.
