The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Trust invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the opening of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024.
During their meeting with the Prime Minister, Champat Rai, the General Secretary of the Sri Ram Janmbhoomi Trust, affirmed that January 22, 2024 will be the date of the installation of the Lord Ram idol in the Garbhagriha of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

He has invited me to come to Ayodhya on the occasion of the consecration of Shri Ram Temple. I feel very blessed. It is my good fortune that in my lifetime, I will witness this historic occasion,’ PM Modi posted on X.
The Prime Minister invited him to join him in celebrating the construction of the temple at the site of the devotees’ belief that Lord Ram was born, by posting an image of trust officials with his post on X.

The head of the temple construction committee, Nripendra Mishra, had stated in June that the consecration of the Ram Lalla statue will take place over the course of ten days, beginning on January 14.
The Trust has chosen to begin the process of consecration of Ram Lalla on Makar Sankranti (January 14), as the ground floor construction of the three-story Ram temple has been finished.
