The Shri Ram Janambhoomi Trust has extended a special invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to participate in the installation of Lord Ram’s idol at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. They have requested him to personally place the idol of Lord Ram in the temple’s ‘Garbhagriha’ on January 22, 2024, as confirmed by Champat Rai, the Trust’s general secretary. In response, Prime Minister Modi expressed his deep gratitude for the opportunity to be part of this historic event, confirming his attendance on January 22. The date for the consecration, known as ‘Pran Pratishtha,’ is now officially set.
In a post on social media, Prime Minister Modi shared his sentiments, saying, “Hail Siya Ram! Today is a day full of emotions. Just now, the officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust had come to meet me at my residence. They have invited me to come to Ayodhya for the consecration of the Shri Ram temple. I feel very blessed. It is my good fortune that in my lifetime, I will witness this historic occasion.”
