Milk cake recipe for evening time

Here’s a simple recipe for making milk cake:

Ingredients:

1. 1 liter of full-fat milk
2. 1 cup of sugar
3. 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder
4. A pinch of saffron strands (optional)
5. Chopped nuts like almonds and pistachios for garnish
6. Ghee for greasing the plate

Instructions:

1. Start by boiling the milk in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat. Stir continuously to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan.

2. As the milk thickens, add the saffron strands if you’re using them. Continue to stir and cook.

3. Once the milk reduces to about half its original volume and thickens considerably, add the sugar and cardamom powder. Keep stirring.

4. The mixture will start to thicken even more, and it will begin to leave the sides of the pan. At this stage, turn off the heat.

5. Grease a plate or tray with ghee and transfer the thickened milk mixture onto it.

6. Flatten and level the mixture using a spatula. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top and press them gently into the milk cake.

7. Allow the milk cake to cool down for a few hours at room temperature.

8. Once it’s completely cooled and set, cut it into squares or your desired shape.

9. Your delicious homemade milk cake is ready to be enjoyed!
