On Monday, Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj declared that if the whole Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was put in jail, both the government and the party would flee from prison.
In response to a question regarding the AAP’s strategy in the case that Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal was taken into custody on November 2, he made this statement. In addition, he backed up what his party had previously said regarding the BJP’s desire to ‘finish the party (AAP).’
Arvind Kejriwal has been called in by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to be questioned over the money laundering case involving the now-repealed excise scheme. Arvind Kejriwal has been invited to appear before the finance watchdog on Thursday, November 2. Speaking to India Today TV following the ED summons to Kejriwal, AAP leader Atishi claimed there were worries that Arvind Kejriwal might be arrested by the probe agency following his interrogation regarding the purported liquor policy scam.
Regarding the potential and the direction of the AAP, Saurabh Bharadwaj has stated, ‘It will be determined by the party’s senior leaders. However, the government and the party will flee from jail if the entire party is imprisoned.’
The speaker went on to say that Arvind Kejriwal would not ‘let that happen’ despite the BJP’s apparent desire to disrupt the ‘education system and mohalla clinics.’
