Enroll in PG studies in your preferred field, regardless of your degree.

Explore the opportunity to pursue a Post Graduation course aligned with your passion, regardless of your undergraduate degree. The pathway involves qualifying for the subject through the National Entrance Test, as outlined in the University Grants Commission’s (UGC) new norms draft for PG studies.

According to the proposed norms, students can engage in online courses and even pursue two PG programs simultaneously. There’s flexibility in combining offline and online-distance education courses, and after the first year of a two-year PG program, opting for a PG diploma is an option. The traditional approach of a one-year PG program after a four-year degree is also acknowledged.

The existing five-year integrated PG format remains, with an emphasis on enhancing credits for research, training, and internships during the study period. These recommendations align with the National Education Policy.

If you wish to contribute to shaping these norms, suggestions can be submitted by December 15 on the UGC website. The finalized criteria will be published subsequently. For submitting suggestions, email: suggestions.pgframeworks@gmail.com. Participate in shaping the future of PG education!
