Mumbai: Eicher Trucks & Buses, a business unit of VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd (VECV), has launched the Eicher Non-Stop series. The new series includes heavy-duty trucks for long-haul transportation.
The Non-Stop series currently has four models — Eicher Pro 6019XPT (tipper), Eicher Pro 6048XP (haulage truck), and Eicher Pro 6055XP and Eicher Pro 6055XP 4×2 (tractor-trucks).
Eicher Pro 6019XPT: Pro 6019XPT tipper is powered by a VEDX5, 5.1L 4-cylinder engine, which generates 240hp of maximum power and 900Nm of peak torque. The company claims that the vehicle has a handsome power-to-weight ratio for superior pulling strength and outstanding gradeability.
Eicher Pro 6048XP: With a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 48 tonnes, the Pro 6048XP employs a VEDX8 engine that delivers 300hp of maximum power and 1,200Nm of peak torque.

Eicher Pro 6055XP and Eicher Pro 6055/1 (4X2): These tractor trailers use a VEDX8 engine and are claimed to have been designed with a robust and fine-tuned driveline for optimal performance, better turnaround time and superior uptime for long haul logistics.
Eicher has a dealership network of 850+ touchpoints nationwide, including more than 425 authorised service centres and over 8,000 retail centres for parts. The company also offers ‘Eicher Site Support’, a service designed to provide hassle-free support at remotely located sites. It has established over 240 sites, supporting more than 12,000 vehicles.
