Ingredients:
– 200g paneer (cubed)
– 1 cup green peas (fresh or frozen)
– 1 large onion (finely chopped)
– 2 tomatoes (pureed)
– 2 green chilies (slit)
– 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
– 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
– 1 teaspoon coriander powder
– 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
– 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
– 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
– 1/2 cup fresh cream
– 2 tablespoons oil
– Fresh coriander leaves (for garnishing)
– Salt to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
2. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for a minute until the raw smell disappears.
4. Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
5. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a couple of minutes.
6. Add green peas and paneer cubes. Mix them with the masala.
7. Pour in fresh cream and garam masala. Stir well.
8. Cover the pan and simmer for 10-15 minutes until the peas and paneer are cooked through.
9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
10. Serve hot with naan or rice.
