New Delhi: The dense fog in North India affected several train services. The Indian Railways updated that a total of 26 trains are running late in the national capital due to reduced visibility caused by the thick fog. According to the Indian Railways, several Delhi-bound trains were delayed by one to six hours due to fog.

Because of the low visibility January 1, nearly 21 trains ran late, while on the last day of 2023, over 23 trains were late in Delhi due to dense fog.

New Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 8.3 degrees Celsius. Earlier on Monday, the city recorded a minimum of 6 degrees Celsius.
