NIA’s recent detainment of an individual named Shabbir in Bellary marks a significant development in the investigation of the Rameswaram cafe blast case. Acting on intelligence inputs, NIA officials conducted a pre-dawn operation, apprehending Shabbir at 4 am today. This breakthrough comes amidst heightened scrutiny following the bomb blast at Bengaluru’s Rameshwaram Cafe, with authorities intensifying efforts to unravel the complexities of the incident. Shabbir, a resident of Bellary, was promptly transported to Bangalore for further interrogation after his detention.
Shabbir, identified as a resident of Torangalla working for a private company, was apprehended near Tank Bund Road. NIA suspects his involvement in meeting the alleged terrorist near Complex.
