This chilli toast recipe is very quick to make, with simple ingredients off your pantry that you can serve for either breakfast or as an appetizer for parties.
Chilli Cheese Toast

Ingredients
- 5 Whole Wheat Bread Slices, with edges sliced off (or a french loaf)
- Butter, softened, for toasting
For the topping
- 2 Green Chillies, finely chopped (or jalepenos)
- 1/2 Green Bell Pepper (Capsicum), finely chopped
- 1/2 Red Bell pepper (Capsicum) , finely chopped
- 1 Tomato, finely chopped
- Coriander Leaves, small bunch, chopped
- 2 teaspoons Olive Oil
- Cheddar cheese, grated, to taste
- Salt and Pepper, to taste

How to make
- To begin making the Chilli Cheese Toast Recipe, preheat oven to 200 C.
- Butter all the bread slices and arrange them on a baking tray. If you are using a fresh loaf bread, then first slice them half lengthwise, then once again into desired sizes.
- Combine all the toppings including green chillies, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, tomato, coriander leaves and olive oil except the cheddar cheese. Mix everything well. Check the salt and pepper levels, adjust to suit your taste and keep aside.
- Sprinkle the topping mixture evenly on the buttered bread slices. Finally sprinkle the cheddar cheese and grill in the preheated oven until the cheese melts and you notice that the bread also is getting crusty from the sides.
- Once baked, remove the Chilli Cheese Toast from the oven and cut into desired shapes and serve.
- Serve Chilli Cheese Toast Recipe along with a Smoothie or Boiled Egg. You can also serve it in your tea parties and for evening snacks along with a cup of your preferred beverage.
