A quick and simple oats recipe

Raspberry oatmeal crumbles

Ingredients
2 cups raspberry, frozen
½ tsp lemon zest
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp castor sugar
1 apple, peeled and grated
100 gm butter
1/3 cup light brown sugar
2 tbsp honey
¾ cup all-purpose flour
1 cup oats, rolled
½ tsp vanilla paste
2 tbsp milk

Method
Heat the oven at 180°C.                                                                                        Grease an 8-inch silicon cake square or round mould and keep aside.
Heat a pan and add defrosted raspberries, lemon zest, brown sugar and castor sugar. Cook for 4-5 minutes. Keep aside and cool. Add grated apple and mix well.
Mix butter, light brown sugar, and honey together with a spoon and combine with flour, oats and vanilla paste. Add milk and mix with a mixing spoon. 
Pour into the prepared mould, retaining ¼ cup of the mixture. Layer with the raspberry mixture evenly and top with remaining oats mixture. Use a spatula to even it out.
Bake for about 30-35 minutes. Remove and cool. Cut into squares and serve.
